f(x) Sings for Public Transportation Campaign

SM’s new gem f(x) has been chosen to participate in the Public Transportation Campaign!

f(x) had recently filmed the music video for their Public Transportation Campaign Song, which is scheduled for airing on Inkigayo this Sunday, September 20th.

f(x) chose an amusement park as the setting and fittingly, had a great time shooting. The music video enabled the group to showcase their individuality and talents, and many are looking forward to its release.

f(x) wrapped up filming on the 10th and claimed, “We’re so happy to participate in the promotion of public transportation and will work diligently to be acknowledged not only in Korea, but in all of Asia.”

Kim Taewoo along with f(x) appeared on KBS coolFM ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio’ on September 7. On that day, f(x)’s member, Luna sang Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing’, and captivated her senior, Kim Taewoo.

New Girl Group Enters the Race of Female Bands

SM Entertainment, the creators of TVXQ, Girls’ Generation and SHINee, has introduced another girl group, f(x), adding fuel to the already heated race between female performers.

The showcase for the new five-member girl group was held last week at the Fashion Center in southern Seoul, hosted by Girls’ Generation member Sunny and Super Juniors’ Lee Teuk.

Although the young members smiled nervously every now and then, it was evident that they were excited to finally present themselves to the public.

The group f(x) is comprised of Sulli, Luna, Krystal, Amber and Victoria. The name is written as the mathematical equation for function and, like the changing results depending on the applied variable “x,” the group is aiming to apply each of their individual talents to bring out the group’s colorful charms.

The girls appeared in black with black fedoras, dancing to the beat of Sam Sparro’s “Black & Gold.” The lucky fans who were chosen to attend the showcase shouted the members’ names, but the girls kept up the energy with “Womanizer” by Britney Spears. The performance was powerful, but the doll-faced girls were a little too skinny to bring out the sexiness and edge of the song.

When they came into the spotlight, it was easy to see that the girls had done their work in terms of style. Each member donned at least one of the recent trends, from pointy shoulder jackets to colorful and graphic print leggings and long and curly hair, proving once again that Korean idol groups are not just about music, but the whole package.

Victoria is like Super Junior’s Hankyung

f(x) was on Kbs cool FM ‘super junior kiss the radio ’ yesterday, the 7th, their first radio show.

f(x) and super junior are company sunbae relationships. Super Junior participated in f(x)’s first showcase on the second, they have said their comments many times.

During broadcast, Eunhyuk said, “Looking at f(x)‘s leader Victoria, it’s like looking at our group’s Hangeng.” Showing affection. Victoria was in china’s best dance school, Beijing Dance Academy. She’s the group’s chinese dancer.

f(x) 2nd stage, another powerful and energetic performance

SM entertainment rookie group had made their second performance on SBS Inkigayo Sept 6th, and got a special attention from viewers. Just like their 1st performance on MBC Music Core the day before, they also perform ‘Intro’ and their title song ‘Lachata’.

In the second debut performance, they presented another powerful and energetic performance, and again left a strong impression to the audiences. Upon this, netizen said “A new girl group was born. We expect their activities in the future.”

Written by a famous songwriter Kenzie, f(x)’s debut song ‘Lachata’ is a mixed of hip hop grooves and electronic feelings, makes it an impressive pop-dance song.

Fan accounts at Inkigayo and fanmeeting

The same Sone that went to MuCore went to Inkigayo today too and he/she said today there were 260 fans who went to support f(x) and 2NE1 had about 100 fans who went there to support. He/she says its so impressive how a rookie group can have so many fans to go root for them..^^

They went in around 1 pm and after the stage was finished with the preparations, f(x) members came in and suddenly all you can hear are screams. After standing in position, they started recording their debut stage..
